Health Hack: Keeping Active During the Winter

Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to get back into the swing of things! Whether you’re going back to work or school, it’s a brand-new year which means a the chance to start a brand-new routine that you can stick to. So, how do you keep active during the winter months? We’ve got it figured out for you.
Set a routine. Setting a routine to workout is one way to consistently keep working out. But what happens when you don’t have the motivation? Turn to Pinterest. Pinterest is a hub of great motivational quotes and exercise routines that you can switch up so you don’t get bored.
Don’t think of exercise as a chore. When people think of fitness, people tend to think of it as a chore instead of a way of life. While it’s hard to change your mind at first, slowly adapting to the idea that fitness is a way to prolong your life will have a positive impact!
Exercise doesn’t have to come in the form of a treadmill. There are tons of other ways that you can get your daily exercise in. It may be too cold outside for a run (unless you totally want to—but bundle up!), but it’s not too cold to have some fun with your BFFS. By going sledding, ice skating, or having a snowball fight with friends can count as exercise too!
