Fashion Blog: Me, eating a hot dog, eyeing you….You, a beautiful bag
*Have you ever asked a stranger where they got their bag, shoes, shirt…?* I do it _all_ the time. *I don’t think there’s any shame in walking up to someone on campus and asking them.* I try to make it seem like more of a compliment than a _I-want-that-now!_ kind of a thing. Like, _”Wow, that is soooo cute! Where did you get it?_ Sounds really cheesy, but it gets the job done.
So I’m in a big food court the other day with my best friend and I see the coolest bag. It’s a very large rectangular shoulder tote in a taupe canvas with a diamond stitching pattern. There’s silver hardware and brown braided leather straps that criss-cross all over it. *_(If you know this bag please tell me!!!)_*
Kaavya Coverage: Official Statement from her “former” Publisher
_”Little, Brown and Company will not be publishing a revised edition of How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life by Kaavya Viswanathan, nor will we publish the second book under contract.”_
I was in a bookstore in downtown D.C. the other day and saw copies of the book for sale _(they were supposed to be sent back to the publisher)_. A closer look showed that they were marked “Autographed Copies” so I opened one up. The bookstore had crossed out Kaavya’s name and signed Megan McCafferty instead. *Harsh….but what do you think?*
