April Showers Bring…Frizzy Hair?!?

The rain is falling, the birds are chirping, and your frizzy hair is (sadly) back action. But hey, just because Mother Nature thinks it’s funny to bless some of us with a ‘fro doesn’t not mean we have to keep it that way. Trust me, there are plenty of products and procedures out there to help tame away your rainy day hair drama.

One suggestion is to avoid shampooing hair every day. Shampooing can get rid of some of the natural oils in hair which are good moisturizers for hair. Also you should try to avoid touching your hair as much as possible because your hands can also remove some of these natural oils. Using a deep conditioner like Neutrogena’s Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner, which can help add moisture to dry damaged hair.

Garnier Fructis makes a line of affordable Sleek and Shine shampoos, conditioners, treatments, and styling products created especially for frizzy hair. The leave-in formula helps build a barrier in your hair to prevent frizz. They also offer a milk styling product that you put in your hair before blow drying to help smooth it out while using a heat tool.

Infusium makes some good hair care products including shampoo conditioner, and other styling products for any hair type, including frizzy hair. Their (frizz)ologie collection has a three step collection of a shampoo, a conditioner, and a leave in treatment to renew, replenish and restore hair to a healthy state.

Forget all those mushroom head and chia pet comments – your hair is going to look sleek and chic if you follow this winning beauty regimen!
