While Rachel is busy battling it out with a new glee club rival, Quinn is bound and determined to get back on the cheerleading squad (even if Coach Sue say no way in hell). Meanwhile, Mr. Schuester is desperate to win back Emma, but with a new football coach causing trouble, and NYC Nationals on the horizon, things might get way more complicated before they get better.

Vampire Diaries (The CW)

What you can expect: Things are about to go from bad to worse for Elena when Damon and Stefan's former love, Katherine returns to town and tries to destroy the very things Elena loves the most. Gossip Girl (The CW)

What you can expect: Drama. Lies. The return of Chuck Bass. What more could you ask for? The fourth season of the series picks up in Paris, with Serena and Blair wrapping up their summer trip abroad. A surprise encounter with a stranger who may or may not be Blair's former love (with a new girlfriend in tow, no less) sets the tone for the entire premiere. Is Georgiana really pregnant with Dan's baby? Are Serena and Nate really over? Is Blair one step closer to discovering a big secret Serena's been keeping from her? OMFG!

Family Guy (FOX)

NEW SHOWS
My Generation (ABC)
Starts: Thursday, September 23 at 8PM EST
What you can expect: This drama takes on a documentary-like premise as an Austin, TX camera crew documents the last days of the class of 1998 then jumps forward to see where they are now. Unrealized dreams, baby surprises, and drama aplenty makes this new series a must-see

Boardwalk Empire (HBO)
Starts: Sunday, September 19 at 9PM EST

From Sopranos writer Terrence Winter and Academy Award-winning directorMartin Scorsese, comes the true story of Nucky Thompson, the corrupt and vicious treasurer of Atlantic City who knocks Prohibition on its ear when he joins forces with gangsters Lucky Luciano and Al Capone to keep the alcohol flowing up and down the boardwalk. (FYI: The critics already love it and are saying it's one of THE top shows of the new season.)

The Walking Dead (AMC)
Starts: Halloween Night (Sunday, October 31 at 10PM EST)
What you can expect: Combine Lost with Lord of the Flies, add in a few thousand zombies, throw in lots of ammunition, and what you have is a (former) kick-ass graphic novel come to life. When a small-town police officer wakes up from a coma and discovers that a zombie plague has swept the country and that his wife and son are missing, he sets out to find them only to discover that the human survivors left behind are almost as deadly as the undead themselves.

What you can expectWill Arnett (Arrested Development) and Keri Russell (Felicity) star in quirky new comedy about a filthy rich bachelor who's desperate to win back the love of his former childhood sweetheart (as long as daddy doesn't cut him off, that is). From the creators of Arrested Development and the writers of Reno 911! and Two and a Half Men, comes a ridiculous new show you AND your Tivo will totally love.
