Happy holidays! This weekend is sure to be filled with friends and family, and I bet you're looking through your closet to pick the best outfit to spread holiday cheer. Well, I may have just the item for you!

While everyone is on a budget during the holiday season, I have an easy and inexpensive way to brighten your weekend. The holiday sweater, as tacky and ugly as some of them can be, is the perfect holiday item. Easy to find at any thrift shop (or in my case, my mother's closet), these sweaters will bring a little extra cheer to any family gathering. Whether you choose a classic Christmas tree, a sweater vest or even a sweatshirt witih a few jingle bells, this item is sure to be a hit with your family.

If Christmas isn't the holiday you're celebrating this season, there are plenty of sweaters that feature other holidays, such as Hanukkah or Kwanzaa. Add to a pair of skinny jeans or leggings, match with holiday accessories (such as a headband, earrings, broach) and a pair of boot,  and you are all set for this holiday weekend.
