The ‘It’ Bags For This Fall Fashion Season
By Lexie Tiongson, San Francisco State University
“It” bags are made to be trendy but are also made to help you stand out. There’s an “it” bag out there for everyone — it’s just a matter of finding one that matches all your outfits and has multiple uses.
A cross-body bag is great for running or biking to class and is perfect for small notebooks and a couple pens. Take this Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal Natasha with you. A great rendition of the Classic Q Natasha, it comes in four different colors. The birds on the bag also add a great touch in standing out with any outfit.
Totes are great for lugging around with lots of books. This Ruled Tote from Anthropologie can fit your iPad & agenda among many others that are must-needs for school. You can also take it with you on a day shopping with your friends.
Satchels are made to throw thing in when you’re in a hurry. This Zip-Front Moto Satchel from Urban Outfitters was made just for that purpose. With the zipper detailing and hardware, this is one of the biggest “it” bags of the season.
An “it” bag that you can take with you while you’re going out would be a small cross-body bag. This Petite Briefcase Bag from Madewell is made for those tiny essentials like lip gloss, your phone, a mirror and a small wallet.
