Must-Haves to Keep Your New Year’s Fitness Resolution
By Kelly Leslie, Student at San Francisco State University
Decorations are coming down, stores are selling out of last year's clothing and your friends are filling your Facebook feed with resolutions. The new year is officially here, and like myself and many other chicsters, you are most likely setting a few goals of your own.
Do your resolutions revolve around fitness? If so, check out these must-have items that are sure to keep you motivated!
CamelBak BPA Free Water Bottle
It is so important to remember to drink enough water, especially when starting a new fitness plan. I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time staying hydrated. I have even built up a mini water bottle collection as an attempt to keep me motivated. This year I noticed that the BPA Free CamelBak water bottle was all the rage in my town, so naturally I had to try it out!
The verdict? I LOVE it. Not only is it spill proof (so you can toss it in your bag without getting everything else wet), but it also makes it easy to drink a large amount of water in just one gulp, which is a must for all the strenuous workouts that will make you extra thirsty. The one concern I had was being able to keep it clean, but that is not a problem because you can detach the straw and mouth piece to wash them separately. I especially like that it is available in a large variety of colors, including pink. I'd say it's definitely worth spending the $15 at your local sports store!
