Essie has been around for nearly 40 years, and it is not a huge surprise why it is still one of the best-known nail polish brands out there.

The brand is constantly putting out a new array of colors matching the trends for the season. It’s as if they will never run out of hues!

The latest group of colors is called the Resort Collection, which highlights the use of both bold and pastel colors similar to what we are seeing in fashion this spring. Aside from the statement-making colors, such as a hot coral and a very beachy blue, Essie occasionally adds products that are just as fun but are a little less common.

One of the newest additions is The RepStyle Collection, which made its first appearance in stores in December. The jewel tone shades that make up the line differ from regular, old nail lacquer. The cap holds a magnet, which creates a metallic, snakeskin effect on your nails. While the final effect might look like you had the help of a professional, achieving this look is incredibly easy. All you have to hover the magnet over the freshly-painted nail for five to 10 seconds. That’s it!

Another new Essie product is Essie’s Sleek Sticks. Following in the trails of other “stick-on” polishes, the Sleek Sticks save you the mess and the dry time of painting your nails. Not only does Essie have a selection of patterns, but you can also choose sticks that are three-dimensional, rhinestones and all.

Finally, I cannot leave without mentioning my all-time favorite Essie product: the Good To Go Top Coat. It might sound unexciting, but this is an essential product for anyone who loves manicures and wants to keep them looking fresh and fabulous. This top coat polish not only makes your nail color pop and stay shiny, but it holds true to the name — it dries so fast, you really are good to go within minutes!
