The Associate Fashion Editor assists the Fashion Director with shoots. Responsibilities include: production of shoots, scouting locations, securing permits, ensuring that all the shoot details on set or on location are taken care of and that everything stays within allotted budget. The Associate Fashion Editor also ensures all the merch credits are supplied and accurate for the stories the Fashion Director works on. The Associate Fashion Editor also assists the Fashion Director with necessary administrative work.

This entry level job will be supporting 2 high level advertising representatives in an administrative capacity. Some of the main job responsibilities include: competitive analysis, positioning reports, organizing and scheduling appointments, sending out issue letters (mass mailings, monthly letters), maintaining the comp list, put together media kits, and completing Expense Reports. This position would also require general administrative duties: Filing, faxing, answering phones, copying, messengering, making reservations (spas, restaurants, etc.), scheduling appointments/travel arrangements, and ordering supplies.
