Join the Axe Undie Run!

It’s nearing the end of the semester and stress is at an all-time high. Looking for a way to let loose? Axe (makers of those oh-so-strong body sprays that promise to hypnotize women into a trance of lust), are asking co-eds to strip down for a cause.

The Axe Undie Run Challenge is a two-month long event over 10 locations across the country. The challenge? Strip off your clothes, donate them to charity, and run wild on campus in your undies. Be the school with the most donations and you’ll win the grand prize: a half-naked statue for your campus (and I’m sure your Dean will be really excited about the latest addition to the quad).

Though they’re the first to add a charitable edge, Axe certainly didn’t invent the undie run; since the early 2000s, the pantless parade has been a tradition at many college campuses, including UCLA, U of M, and ASU. They began as a way to let off steam, celebrate the end of the school year, and basically diss campus police.

The Axe Undie Run Challenge kicked off this past Friday in Boston, and its next stop is ASU this week. Want in on the action? Head to one of these locations to join the cause… and the fun!
