Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg Named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year
He's the man that keeps you connected with your friends and family, helps you stalk your ex-boyfriend, and allows you to rant and rave about everything going on in your life. Can you imagine your life without Facebook? Neither can we — that's why we're not exactly surprised that Time Magazine has named Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg as its "Person of the Year."
Zuckerberg is famous in his own right, but the release of The Social Network (and it's run for Oscar gold), his recent donation to help schools in Newark, NJ, and his pledge to give away most of his billions to charity have made Zuckerberg the face of new generation of power movers and shakers. Whether you love him, loathe him, or aspire to BE him, Zuckerberg has taught a generation of college students that the road to success isn't just about studying and getting good grades. It's about thinking out of the box, taking chances, and believing in yourself.
