Five close friends/relatives of mine are getting married this summer, which poses the question… *”When you’re in college or just graduated, how do you afford lots of wedding gifts?”* There are the engagement parties, bridal showers, the wedding itself…it can really add up, especially when you multiply it by five.

The fact is, I would love to get all of my friends an expensive gift or even just a gift from their registry. But I can’t always afford it. I just got an invitation telling me that *my friend is registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond, Pottery Barn, Williams – Sonoma and Z Gallerie. What about Target??* And how do you justify spending an obscene amount of money on a new handbag or pair of shoes, when you “can’t” even buy your friend a toaster oven? *Wedding season is here….How do you give gifts?*
