1. What is the UChic ambassador program?

UChic’s ambassador program is for young women who dream big! We provide real-world work experience in journalism, content marketing and social media, an opportunity to give back AND a community of young women that can help you reach your professional goals. We understand that your schedule is busy so our program is flexible—you can work remotely and on your own time.

2. Who should apply?

If you are a young woman in high school, college or right out of college with an interest in journalism, marketing, fashion or media (It does not have to be your major!), our program is right up your alley. Our ideal candidates have strong communication skills, an interest in young women’s issues and a passion to give back. It’s a plus if you’re a blogger or active on social media.

3. What do ambassadors do?

UChic’s ambassadors are part of EVERYTHING we do. Our company is for girls, by girls. We will have opportunities to contribute to our blog, write for our award-winning college guidebook and create social media content for us. We are a start-up and you’ll be invaluable in helping design our new products, spread the word about UChic on your campus and shape company decisions.

4. How does the ambassador program help me?

It’s never too early to get start building your resume! Whether you’re looking for your first internship or need experience for your dream job, UChic’s brand ambassador program is perfect for a variety of majors and interests. Still undecided? Our program can help you earn experience in different areas and help you find your passion. Plus, our Chicster ambassadors have first access to our scholarship and funding opportunities.

5. When will ambassadors be chosen?

Our first round of applications closes on Friday, February 20, 2015.  Make sure you get in your applications by then!
