Get Organized in 2015

The new year always brings promise of improving ourselves and finally reaching certain goals. These goals can include landing that dream internship, starting your own business, or getting a 4.0 this semester. Sometimes these goals and dreams can feel very far away. Today, I want to discuss how you can get started. The first step to reaching your 2015 goals is getting yourself organized.
If being organized does not come naturally to you, there are plenty of things you do to make a bit easier. First get yourself a planner, desk calendar, and or notebook. This will help you keep track of all of your to-do lists and help you stay prioritized. Also check out Pinterest. There are tons of crafty and effective ways to get yourself organized.
Even if you already have a knack for organizing, it is important to keep up with all the new trends. And its important to stay organized. To keep yourself motivated, track some smaller monthly goals. Reward yourself each time you complete that month’s goals.
It is also good to reflect on past accomplishments. I like to keep a gratitude jar for the new year, where I include my past accomplishments. All you need is a mason jar and slips of paper to write on. On January 1, 2016 you can reopen jar and read through everything you have accomplished over the year.
I am a certified professional organizer. In 2015, my goal is to start my own business as a Professional Organizer. Can’t wait to read that in the jar!
