Health Nut: Is a Midnight Snack Going to Stack the Pounds?

I don’t know about you but one of my favorite hobbies is eating. I eat a lot actually. I always wonder if I should have a cut off time when I should stop eating. I usually hope I’ll sweat off the calories by hitting up one of my favorite reggae clubs. I can dance the night away and literally loose a few inches off of my body by the end of the night. I do most of my eating at night when I’m working on assignments. It’s hard being able to enjoy a full meal during the day between classes and work.

After a hard day of work, my first move when I get home is to see what’s in the fridge. This is usually at 11:30 p.m. The last thing I want to do is go to bed hungry. I’ve always wondered if people gain more weight because of the amount of food they eat, or does the time they eat have anything to do with it.

According to medicinenet.com it doesn’t matter what time of day we eat because your body never knows what time it is. Weight gain solely depends on our calorie intake. So a little midnight snack won’t add the pounds but it is smart to keep track of your daily calorie intake.
