HealthNut: The Dehydration Myth

Staying hydrated is crucial during the summertime, and we all know that we are need to drink eight glasses of water a day to stay properly hydrated.

Or do we?

According to UChic Health Expert, Robyn Flipse, you don’t have to limit yourself to H20. Coffee, tea, soda and even alcohol are all okay to imbibe for hydration purposes. She says:

“Another myth soaking up a lot of attention is that beverages containing caffeine and alcohol will dehydrate you. This myth has not only been dispelled scientifically, there are millions of people who are living proof to the contrary!”
