The Spring/Summer Concert Preview

Attention music lovers — this concert season has quite the line up, and if you love great music and a good time, snag your tickets while you still can! The school semester is coming to an end, so there is no better time than the present to enjoy your favorite musician LIVE. Here’s a look at the latest and upcoming tours for 2010…

Monster Ball Tour Starring Lady Gaga
Get excited ‘Little Monsters,’ Lady Gaga and Virgin Mobile have announced the return of the Monster Ball Tour to North America! After selling out across Europe, the second leg of this tour is set to begin on June 28th at Montreal’s Bell Centre and continue to various cities across the U.S. and Canada throughout the summer and fall. The announcement comes with news that Lady Gaga will again thrill the audience with a theatrical performance, making the tour “more of a musical, and less of a concert.”

Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth Tour
Rihanna announced the upcoming dates for her “Last Girl on Earth” tour set to start on July 2 in Seattle, WA, and continues until August 25 in Chicago, IL. Rihanna told AOL the costumes and production will be on a “whole new level” compared to her last tour. Along for the ride is the ever-so popular Ke$ha, but unfortunately Nicki Minaj, pulled out of the tour just recently to finish her album.

My World Starring Justin Bieber
Tween sensation Justin Bieber is set to hit North America for his “My World” tour on June 23 and carries on through September. The young heartthrob will be joined by R&B star Sean Kingston as the opening act. Join the Bieber Fever Fan Club and get exclusive presale tickets!

Black Eyed Peas’ E.N.D. World Tour 2010
The Black Eyed Peas finish up the second leg of their North American tour on August 23. With numerous hit songs striking the top of the charts this year, the Black Eyed Peas are seeing great success. Are you a fan? Tickets are still on sale, so get them while you can!

Dave Matthews Band Summer 2010 Tour
The Dave Matthews Band is set to tour across the United States this summer from May 25 to September 15. He has various openers throughout the tour including Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, The Felice Brothers, Zac Brown Band and Amos Lee, among others. Tickets were on sale in February, so check now for a location near you.

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers Superhighway Tour
Looking for a cool concert to hit with mom and dad? Classic rockers Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers kick start their summer tour on May 6 and stay on the road until August 27. The tour also includes Joe Cocker, Drive-By Truckers, ZZ Top, Buddy Guy, My Morning Jacket and Crosby, Stills and Nash.

All at Once Tour Featuring Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson is back on tour this summer after a few years off the road. The long-awaited tour begins on July 9 in Connecticut, just after the release of his fifth-studio album, “To the Sea,” on June 1. The tour covers 32 cities across North America and all of the proceeds will go to his charity, the All at Once social-action network. Tickets went on sale April 10. (P.S. You can even sign up to volunteer at one of Jack’s shows and see the entire concert for free!)

John Mayer’s Battle Studies Tour 2010
After the release of his new album, “Battle Studies,” John Mayer announced his 2010 tour, which carried out throughout the spring. However, don’t be upset, because he still has quite a few summer dates set up across the nation. Mayer is back in the U.S. on July 17 in Charlotte, N.C. and continues until September 11 to West Palm Beach, FL.

Carrie Underwood’s Play On Tour
Are you a country fan? If so, here’s your chance to see former Idol star Carrie Underwood continues to “Play On” this spring and summer. The tour began on March 11, and wraps up on October 2. Selling out across the nation, the tour features guests Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia.

Fearless 2010 Tour Featuring Taylor Swift
She’s bringing the tour back! Taylor Swift hit the road on March 4 and plans on touring the United States until June 10. The 19-year-old country singer is back by popular demand, so get your tickets while you still can!
