Finish off the season with textures, bright colors, and great shapes. Before you start layering sweaters and jackets for fall — let’s finish things off in style. You don’t need to worry about what’s trendy if you stick to the classics, and right now, everyone’s ending their inventory on summer-themed pieces, so the sales make it ideal to find staples to add to your summertime wardrobe.
Incorporating pretty light shades will extend the sunshine a bit further. Think a chambray top with a pair of skinny baby pink jeans, or a lilac shift dress with a leather jacket or a statement necklace. I love this!

I love the Express portfino tops, but putting it in a pastel? Dream worthy! Pair with black high-waisted shorts or edgy denim and light shades in skinny jeans are work-friendly and fun, and they always look sharp.
Full skirts: Circular skirts are very romantic. Look for pleats, circles, longer lengths, and jacquard. Mixing textures keeps longer skirts from crossing any ‘Grandma’ lines. A higher waist with a crop top or fitted shirt will keep things cute and classy.
