With the weather warming up, there’s no better time to ditch those heavy sweaters and boots for some pretty sheer styles. Sheer tops and dresses can be extremely romantic and delicate-looking when worn the right way. Here’s a few of my favorite sheer picks and how to style them during the summer months: 

Summer is all about effortless style and this high-low hem tank from WILT ($50) is totally chic and easy. Pair it with black leggings and gladiator sandals for a comfortable yet trendy look. To wear this tank into the fall, throw a leather jacket on top! 

Beach season is quickly approaching! The Limited’s sheer Persian print top ($49.50) is a great double-duty wardrobe essential. You can easily wear it over a bathing suit while you’re catching up on some summer reading at the beach, and then throw it over a skin-colored tank for drinks with friends after the sun sets. 

This Free People top ($106) is perfect for the weekend- it’s beautiful floral print and sequins make it unique, and the forgiving elastic waistband and open sleeves make it flattering. Pair it with a black blazer for dinner with friends, or wear it with some stacked bangles for a trip to the mall. 

Best bang for your buck.  Forever 21 dress ($28.90) is a spring/summer must-have. It has just a bit of sheerness on the bottom to give it a sexy yet flirty look. Wear it with a cardigan to make it office appropriate or with a pair of gold earrings for a date. Either way, the beautiful blue color and the sheer lining make this dress scream “summer!”
