UChic Hot List: Travel Writing Boot Camp
Have you always wanted to visit Latin America? Or are you interested in breaking into travel writing?
You could have a chance to do both by applying for V!VA Travel Guides travel writing boot camp. The organization offers week long writing crash courses on everything you need to know to work as a travel writer. This includes providing hands-on learning and experience from professional travel writers and editors, find out what editors want and how to get paid and published for your work, and daily critiques by peers and professional travel writers to improve your writing skills.
Upcoming camps will run in Ecuador (November 2007), Argentina (January 2008) and several other Latin American countries in the early summer of 2008.
The boot camps are designed to find and train talented writers who can contribute to V!VA's travel guides.
